Hi there! Last weekend, I ran across this cool wood butter DIY from Homesong, and it sounded so practical, I had to give it a try. I am a big fan of wooden serving utensils, and have a lot. That being said, I never thought to polish them! It makes total sense, if you're planning to make the wood last, and I'm so glad I made it. It works for any wood surface, so you can polish all of the wood furniture you have too! Get the how-to below!
- 2 tbs. of coconut oil
- 2 tbs. of beeswax
- a jar
1. Place your coconut oil and beeswax in your glass jar. Fill a sauce pan about halfway with water, and place the jar in the center, as shown above.
2. Bring the pan to a boil at medium heat to melt the wax and coconut, and stir once completely melted.
3. To use, rub small amounts on anything wooden, and enjoy!
