Our Plants: Succulent #1

"The word "succulent" comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning juice, or sap" - Wikipedia

Hi there! For this installment of "Our Plants", I'm sharing one of our many succulents. I don't know the exact species this one is, and you'll understand why if you check out the "Families and Genera" section of the Wikipedia page linked above.

Succulents are my very favorite flora. They are interesting to look at and touch, and they range from adorably tiny to massively large. Also, they are supposed to be simple to care for, and in my experience so far, I'd say that's accurate. They haven't died, yet, and the air plants I had did. It was surprising, because I was told air plants are practically un-killable, and they died within a couple of weeks. Maybe that's another reason why I'm loving my little succulents so much, they haven't let me down yet!

Will you just look at this little cutie! Another bonus is that Bailey hasn't tried to murder these yet, and I'm choosing to believe it's because she thinks they are too pretty to destroy. Let's hope that continues. Thanks for reading!
