Hi guys! Since avocado toast has been such a big "thing" in the food world lately, I wanted to find different ways to try it, just to make it more exciting! I settled on turning it into a pizza somehow. It's a slightly more elevated way to consume the food trend. It requires a little more elbow grease than just spreading avocado on toast, but it's a great option if you are hosting a brunch, or want to make your breakfast more special! Get the recipe below!
For the Whole Wheat crust:
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp of salt
For the toppings:
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 2 eggs
Step one - Preheat oven to 350, and mix together crust ingredients until it forms a dough.
Step two - Roll dough into two balls and roll flat on top of parchment paper.
Step three - Using a small bowl and butter knife, cut out dough into two circular "pizza" shapes.
Step four - Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Step five - Fry your eggs, and smooth avocado on top of pizza crusts. Top with fried eggs. Bailey and I each had our own and they were delicious. Enjoy!
